MILLET: Millet seeds contain sulphurated amino acids such as L-cysteine, essential in the hair structure. It is also rich in Vitamins (Group B and Vitamin A and E) and minerals such as Potassium, Phosphorus, Magnesium and Iron. It is a good source of Silicon Acid, hence our organism obtains Silicon, a mineral that gives elasticity to hair and to the osteoarticular system. It promotes the formation of CHERATINE and it is useful in case of fragile hair and nails, baldness and alopecia.
GINSENG with 5% GINSENOSIDES: It enhances physical and mental tone and stimulates the immune system. It helps to deal with stress or fatigue situations. It favors the use of oxygen by muscles and has aphrodisiac properties.
SOY PROTEIN with 40% ISOFLAVONES: Soybeans contain 37% of dry weight proteins, in addition to vitamins (A, B1, B2, D, E) and minerals. It also contains LECITINA, a complex of phospholipids, used to cure the cardiovascular system and to rebalance blood cholesterol levels. It can both rebalance the HDL / LDL ratio and solubilize and transport cholesterol in the blood. Of great interest are ISOFLAVONES, molecules that mimic the action of estrogen (female hormones). Its high content of choline, inositol, minerals and isoflavones (stimulating the production of hair and hair growth agents) makes it effective againsty hair loss. Attention for these molecules was born from comparative studies on the feeding of East Asian populations and western nutrition. Research has related to the assumption of soybeans a reduced risk of cancer (breast and prostate), cardiovascular disease, atherosclerosis. Isoflavones also benefit to counteract menopausal disorders such as flushes: it has been shown that 70-80% of European women suffer from flushes against 14-18% of Asian women; moreover, in menopause, Soja is also useful to counteract the onset of osteoporosis, caused by estrogen deficiency (Tognolini, Principi di Farmacognosia e Fitoterapia, 2007).
HORSETAIL with 7% SILICA: It contains more or less 15% of MINERAL SALTS, in particular: Silicic acid and Calcium; it also contains FLAVONOIDS.This is why it is used as mild DIURETIC (German Commission E Monograph). It is also used in inflammation of the urinary tract, as coadjuvant in the cystitis and for prostate well being. Silicon favors connective tissue and bones well-being and it also useful for nail and hair care.
GUARANÀ: Its stimulating action is due to CAFFEINE which stimulates central nervous system, increases thermogenesis and fat oxidation. Excellent to counteract periods of tiredness and exhaustion, it fosters physical and mental balance
IRON: Iron is an essential component of hemoglobin, an erythrocyte protein that transfers oxygen from lungs to tissues. As a component of myoglobin, a protein that provides oxygen to muscles, iron supports metabolism. Iron is also necessary for growth, development, normal cellular functioning and synthesis of some hormones and connective tissue. (US department of Health) Iron also helps CHERATOCITIS growth, cells whose aim is to sintetize CHERATINE, which is the molecule contained in hair and skin.
ZINC: 12,5 mg per daily dose (125% VNR). Zinc is involved in numerous aspects of cellular metabolism. It is required for the catalytic activity of approximately 100 enzymes and it plays a role in immune function, protein synthesis, wound healing, DNA synthesis, and cell division.(US department of Health). It is needed to release Vitamine A in leaver and it is involved in the CHERATINE sinthesys, which is the molecule contained in hair and skin.
SELENIUM: Skin antioxidant, it acts against free radicals. Its action is enhanced by synergism with vitamin E.
