GREEN COFFEA with 45% CLOROGENIC ACID and 2% CAFFEIN: Compared to traditional black coffee, it has a lower caffeine content which is then released into the body gradually. In fact, CAFFEINE is absorbed more slowly and stays in circulation for longer, releasing a prolonged tonic effect, stimulating metabolism and causing less side effects compared to classic coffee. CHLOROGENIC ACID, with which caffeine binds, is a powerful antioxidant. It is also able to reduce blood pressure values and, at the same time, to modulate the release of glucose into blood after eating, reducing intestinal sugar absorption (reduction of post-prandial glycemia): this effect is useful in case of weight loss and in the treatment of the metabolic syndrome.
HELICHRYSUM : Plant inserted in the official Swiss Pharmocopea VII, has many medicinal properties: it promotes the functionality of microcirculation, is a general anti-inflammatory and has analgesic action, hypocholesterolizing. It works by stimulating digestion and calming spasms. It is useful when you want to detoxify liver and together reduce inflammatory states. It is able to reduce the amount of metabolic disorders induced by obesity by enhancing the oxidation of fatty acids in liver and in skeletal muscle; it also acts directly on the activation of adiponectin, a protein hormone that modulates certain metabolic processes, including glucose regulation and fatty acid catabolism.
ORTOSIPHON with 01% SINENSETINE: Also known as Java Tea, this plant has DIURETIC action, promotes urinary excretion of sodium and nitrogen compounds, such as urea and uric acid. It also has antibacterial and spasmolytic properties.
PASSIONFLOWER with 4% of VITEXINE: This plant owes its action to FLAVONOIDS, including IPEROSIDE and VITEXIN. Promotes sleep and helps in all the disturbances of rest: awakenings, falling asleep difficulty. It is also indicated for stress, nervousness and irritability. A double-blind 2001 study showed that if taken for 30 days, passionflower reduces anxiety symptoms (Akhondzadeh et al., Passionflower in the treatment of generalized anxiety: a double-blind pilot randomized controlled trial with oxazepam, 2011) . It also acts as an antispasmodic, so it relaxes the smooth muscles and proves useful in case of pain, intestinal spasms or cramps and to reduce the stimuli of nervous hunger.
