PROPOLIS

Botanical name: Propolis                                            Habitat: Resinous substance secreted by bees in order to defend the hive from the attacks of external parasites. It is processed from resins and waxes that bees collect from the buds and bark of various plants 

Plant parts used: Rizhome                                          Active ingredients and nutrients: 50-55% resinous substances  25-30% wax (the wax fraction is composed of: oxo acids, lactones, amino acids, vitamins and flavonoids as galangin. 10% essential oils, 5% pollen, 5% various substances 

Therapeutic properties: It is a natural ANTIBIOTIC and also acts as ANTIVIRAL. Its action against influenza viruses and Herpes simplex type 1 and 2 has been demonstrated (M. Tognolini, M. Chiavarini, Principles of Pharmacognosy and Phytotherapy, 2007, Parma). It acts in bronchial, oropharyngeal affections and against TOSSE, MAL DI GOLA and COOLER. It’s a great IMMUNOSTIMULATING, HEALING and ANTI INFLAMMATORY.
