Therapeutic properties: Indicated for GALLBLADDER DISEASES , it is recognized by the Pharmacopoeia IV and by the “German Commission E”. Very recent research has shown many properties in turmeric: ANTIOXIDANT, ANTIARTHRITIC, ANTITUMOR (able to reduce up to 70% breast cancer and to prevent lung cancer) and ANTI-INFLAMMATORY, able to inhibit the formation of substances with inflammatory action on the body (Capasso, Fitoterapia, impiego razionale delle droghe vegetali, 2006, Springer). It’s a great ANTIMICROBIAL, counteracts chronic and autoimmune diseases, diabetes and obesity. Effective against Alzheimer’s, it increases cerebral circulation and improves memory. A 2004 study also showed that regular TURMERIC consumption is able to prevent lung cancer. The many beneficial actions of turmeric are enhanced by synergism with RESVERATROL.
