Therapeutic properties:Burdock is considered the detoxifying plant par excellence, even from traditional Chinese medicine. It has multiple activities: it is antibacterial, antifungal, diuretic, diaphoretic, hypoglycemic (used for this in Japan as it lowers the level of sugar in blood). It helps to cleanse liver, spleen and pancreas and stimulates the biliary outflow. Promotes the elimination of excess fluids and thanks to the diaphoretic action helps the body to eliminate toxins. It also acts on dermatological level where it is widely used in cases of acne, boils, dermatitis and in all cases of irritation and rash, but also for the cleaning of sores and wounds.
