Therapeutic properties: Holly (Ruscus) is known for the activity of RUSCOGENINES, molecules with vasotonic, antiedematous and anti-inflammatory action. It is indicated for venous insufficiency, varicose veins, swelling, but also in the hemorrhoids treatment because it favors venules narrowing, without interfering with arteries functionality. At renal level it has diuretic action. It gives relief because it reduces the sense of heaviness from  legs and the itching in case of hemorrhoids. It stimulates diuresis and menstrual cycle.
