Green coffee

GREEN COFFEE

Botanical name: Coffea canephora                             Habitat: western Africa

Plant parts used: seeds                                              Active ingredients and nutrients caffeine, chlorogenic acid, vitamin B6, thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, folate, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, potassium, zinc

Therapeutic properties: Compared to traditional black coffee, it has a lower caffeine content which is then released into the body gradually. In fact, CAFFEINE is absorbed more slowly and stays in circulation longer, releasing a prolonged tonic effect, stimulating the metabolism and causing less side effects than classic coffee. CHLOROGENIC ACID, with which caffeine binds, is a powerful antioxidant. It is also able to reduce blood pressure values and, at the same time, to modulate the release of glucose in the blood after eating, reducing the absorption of sugar at the intestinal level (reduction of post-prandial glycaemia): this effect is useful in case of body weight loss and in the treatment of metabolic syndrome.

For prevention and control of: WEIGHT-RELATED DISORDERS
