ASIAN CENTELLA

Botanical name:  Hydrocotile Asiatica                              Habitat: Europe, Asia

Plant parts used: aerial part                                             Active ingredients and nutrients: triterpenes (ac. Medacassico, medacassoside, ac. Asian, asiaticoside), phytosterols, minerals

Therapeutic properties: Used in venous insufficiency treatment and for microcirculation functionality, Centella improves vascular-connective tissue tropism. Thanks to the presence of ASIATICOSIDE, it favors the repair of vascular lesions, thanks to its cicatrising action which stimulates the synthesis of collagen in the venous wall. It is also used to soothe wounds and sores, even in case of ulcers or other dermatological affections. Nowadays it is widely recognized for its anti-cellulite action and to combat swelling in legs. For topical use it is used for puffiness and dark circles.
