Therapeutic properties: herbaceous plant whose most representative active component, HYPERICINE inhibits the re-uptake of neurotransmitters (serotonin, noradrenaline, dopamine, glutamate, GABA) at central level, thus having a noticeable soothing effect on mood. Numerous clinical studies report the efficacy of hypericum in cases of mild and moderate anxiety and depression. Several studies have also shown an equal efficacy of hypericum and the reference benzodiazepine. Hypericum is safer than synthetic antidepressants and, unlike the latter, it is not addictive and addictive.
CAUTION:  Hypericum should not be used simultaneously with immunosuppressants, oral contraceptives, asthma killers, anticoagulants, anticancer drugs, antidepressants and antivirals.
