The olfactory experience is structured in two main phases.

In the first part, participants explore the story of Caterina Sforza and her renowned cosmetic recipe. Starting from the original ingredients, their symbolism and function are examined, before moving on to the modern raw materials selected by Dr. Di Massimo to reinterpret the formula. Participants will have the opportunity to smell these essences individually and recognize them within the final composition of the Caterina de’ Medici fragrance.

In the second part, the process is reversed: participants begin with six perfumes and are invited to identify their olfactory families and main ingredients. Once identified, these can be experienced directly on the smelling organ, allowing for a deeper understanding of the essences.

The aim of the experience is to provide the tools to recognize the ingredients within a fragrance and to understand how they evolve within an olfactory composition, offering a deeper insight into and appreciation of the world of perfumery.
